Comte Gerard Gustavus Ducarel de la Pasture, 4th Marquis de la Pasture was the eldest son of Henri Pierre, 3rd Marquis de la Pasture (1797-1840).

Marries Georgina Mary Loughnan (1844-1934) in May 1874. Georgina is buried at LLanbadoc church near Usk.
